As Headteacher, I am passionate about inspiring learning and delivering an exceptional education for every young person. My vision is simple: to ensure all pupils achieve the very best outcomes, make outstanding progress and leave Hollingworth with every opportunity available to them.

We are incredibly proud of our pupils' achievements and celebrate success in all its forms. This year, we are also celebrating another record-breaking set of GCSE results, which reflects the hard work, resilience and ambition of our pupils, alongside the unwavering commitment of our staff and support from our families. We reward pupils for making progress, demonstrating excellent attendance and going above and beyond our high expectations. We expect the very best from our pupils because we know what they are capable of achieving.

Our ethos is captured in our mantra: 'Everyone Excels Every Day'. Put simply, this means we have a culture of high achievement where we do not place a ceiling on what our pupils or staff can accomplish. We understand that strong academic outcomes open doors for our young people and provide opportunities that can shape their futures. We are committed to maintaining high expectations and consistency in everything we do so that every pupil, regardless of their starting point or circumstance, can thrive and achieve their absolute best. At Hollingworth, we aim to make success both achievable and inevitable.

As we look ahead, our work this year is centred around three key priorities: engagement, intervention and literacy. We want every pupil to feel fully engaged in their learning, ensuring they are challenged, motivated and inspired every day. Through carefully targeted intervention, we will continue to provide the support pupils need to overcome barriers and achieve their potential. We are also placing literacy at the heart of everything we do, equipping our young people with the reading, writing and communication skills that are essential for success in school and beyond.
